In 2011, cybersecurity veteran Mark Puckett noticed something frustrating: everyone claimed they did penetration testing. Almost nobody was doing it well. Real adversary simulation — the kind that actually uncovers hidden risks and makes organizations tougher — was shockingly rare.
Mark had spent 30+ years in information security, running Red Team operations at Home Depot and working with heavyweights like GE Energy and Symantec. He knew what great pentesting looked like, had the credentials to prove it (CISSP, CISM, ISSAP, and a CIS degree from Georgia State), and decided to build something better. Raxis was born with one mission: make penetration testing the only focus, and do it better than anyone.
That’s exactly what we’ve done ever since. Mark assembled a tight-knit crew of elite ethical hackers who live for adversary emulation. No side hustles. No jack-of-all-trades service menus. Just a relentless drive to find smarter, sharper ways to break in before the real attackers do.
While others chased every shiny trend or spread themselves across a dozen offerings, we stayed locked in on one thing: staying ahead of tomorrow’s threats.
