Back in 2011, cybersecurity veteran Mark Puckett looked around and saw a real problem: lots of companies said they did penetration testing, but almost none of them were doing it right. True adversary simulation that actually finds the hidden risks and makes organizations stronger was hard to come by.
With more than 30 years in information security, including running Red Team operations at Home Depot and working with heavy hitters like GE Energy and Symantec, Mark knew what great pentesting looked like. He had the credentials to back it up too: CISSP, CISM, ISSAP, and a computer information systems degree from Georgia State University. So he decided to fix what was broken and started Raxis with one clear mission- make penetration testing the focus, and do it better than anyone else.
From the beginning, we’ve done only one thing, and that’s penetration testing at the absolute highest level. Mark built a tight-knit team of elite ethical hackers who live for adversary emulation. No scattered jack of all trades services, no side offerings. Just a constant drive to find smarter, sharper, more effective ways to uncover vulnerabilities before the real attackers do.
