When Cory James at WSB-TV Channel 2 News reached out to Raxis for help warning people about a scam that is targeting Atlanta residents who submit applications to DeKalb County, Raxis Chief Penetration Testing Officer Brian Tant jumped to help.
Brian warned of methods scammers use to make their requests appear legitimate. Be vigilant and remember to always take a moment to think about a requests such these. Always reach out using publicly available contact info (and not the information provided by the person who reached out) to confirm the request before sending any money.
